<<Previous 2013-03-28 TransWorld University Honored with NT$45 million in "Teaching Excellence Awards" from Taiwan's Ministry of Education The Teaching Excellence Project, proposed and subsidized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, aims to boost quality of university education nationwide. It has been five years since the subsidy program took effect in 2006. In 2013, a total of 35 technological universities and colleges received subsidies. Among the counterparts, TransWorld University, the only university based in Chiayi-Yunlin area, is granted NT$45 million for the 2nd consecutive time in a bid to expand the facilities, increase practical courses, and upgrade teaching quality.
